Allen Bradley have “solid” colors used in color band,
Ohmite had this little ridge running the length of the
resistor as though 2 halves were sandwiched together,
Stackpole had sorta Pastel Colors. There was yet another
vendor whose color bands were sorta zig-zaggedly
painted on.

Just resistor trivia. There was some reasons for knowing
the difference, because the Cryogenic behavior was
radically different from vendor to vendor.

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.
