Microphones
The vintage Astatic JT-30, Shure Green Bullet, and other bullet style mics are perfect for use in playing amplified Blues Harmonica.
Harp Tab
A collection of songs and riffs that I’ve worked out over the years, plus some libraries of stuff I’ve converted to tablature.
Harmonica FAQ
Back in the early 1990s, there was an attempt by members of Harp-L to gather as much information about the harmonica as possible. Over the years this information has been scattered and lost.
This is the combination of HarpAmps.com, JT30.com, HarpTab.com, HarpLinks.com, and Harpl.com. It is jury rigged together, but mostly works. There are lots of broken external links. I started jt30.com around 1998 it appears. These sites grew and grew and many (if not most) of the interesting sites that I linked to are gone. I could run a link checker on the site, but it is 8,000 pages of stuff.
I removed Harpl.com and everything will redirect to Harp-L.org in a bit. The harp list at Harp-L.org has a newer version of the software and there is no need to compete with them any more.
I apologise for all the strange links, missing images and bad spelling. Don't try to have me fix anything. I am over 70 and I am no longer interested in doing much more maintenance on these sites.
