Harmonica Arranger Wanted

2007-04-08 12:49:00

I got this in the mail today. I wonder if anyone is interested. The thing about blues harp is that it is improvisational and not a fixed arrangement. Blues songs have an "in the moment" feel that, although they are often practiced and certain aspects are agreed upon, no one performance is like any other. Harmonica players, as often as not, can't even read music. A harmonica arranger is an oxymoron.

Hello:

I am the owner of Professional Music Institute here in California. We currently have over 40 music books titles in print. I am the former owner of Creative Concepts Publishing Corp. which I sold about 6 years ago.

We currently have the rights to over 500 hit copyrights from 1930 to 1990. Many are great blues, folk and rock standards as well as many songs from the Great American Songbook.

We are looking for a Harmonica arranger who is familiar with the many products already published ad who may have some new ideas on the needs that need to be filled for Harmonica products. He must be computer knowledgeable and able to produce a CD to go along with the book.

If we come up with the right product or products the arranger can earn a sizeable income.

I would appreciate it if you would forward my email to anyone you feel might be interested.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

John L. Haag

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.
