Here's another new harp mic. This one is high impedance so it might make a decent mic. You can get them for 48 Euros on some websites, but I don't know where you can buy it in the states.

note: I found a buy-it-now on ebay and I have one on the way. I'll probably dump the element and put a crystal in it if it is just another dynamic vocal mic in a harp shell.

I have done a little test. This is my first impressions:
The finger grooves is very good and its easy holding even with small hands and easy to cup
I have done some volume and feedback test and i got the same conclusion.
This mic got B A L L S.
This mic got less feedback of all mics i got. And its louder!
It doesnt have the same round sound as my Astatic 127 element, its sharper and much louder. When i compare it with my shure CM mics its more like the mex-assembled 77 (without resistor ) in volume, but more trashy and louder. The 1951 Cm and my old CR -element is nice little taciturn girls in my comparisons
It have a smart volumecontrol. the first part set the volume. After the click it set volume too, but it mostly affect the distorsion.
It answer on cupping just as well as the other mics.
Right now its my favorite! I think it cut the mustard in real playing with the band without problem.
The sound is a bit harder at full volume and if you like the old soft sound you find it with the volumecontrol down a bit. But that wasnt interesting too me right now..
Its cheap ( half the price as a Bluesblaster/ Third of a Green bullet in Sweden ) and its good. Buy one.
