John,
I've seen good harp players playing through the black face Twins and Super Reverbs.
The Super Reverb is (according to my guitar play friends) THE guitar amp. I
find these amps have too much feedback for harp. You would have to change the
lead 12ax7 tube to a 12au7 to make them playable and then they wouldn't have
the "balls" for a guitar player. Besides, they are way too heavy.
For small gigs a Princeton is good. It's light and has some power. I've played
through a tweed Princeton and it was great. My guitar player friend just bought
a Blackface Princeton because it was lighter and in the small clubs, has plenty
of power.
I have never seen nor heard anyone play through a Cyber Twin, but I've read
some of the literature. You can pick up a Super Reverb for under $1000, maybe
even under $500 in rough condition, but these designer amps all cost upwards
of $2000 or more for what is essentially a '59 bassman, which is way too much
money for a hobby. A professional might justify it, but not in a blues band.

John,
I never thought of this. This might be a good solution. Give it try and let me know.
